LIVESTRONG

So, I have a bunch of updates on what I've been up to that I will save for later tonight as I'm at work right now. But, I did want to post about an awesome new site that just launched today. As pretty much everyone at least in the US knows, Lance Armstrong, the cyclist who won the Tour de France 7 times in a row is a cancer survivor. His foundation started Livestrong several years ago and with a partnership from Nike started selling those yellow wristbands that you see people wearing all over the place these days. They have become acceptable accessories for athletic events as well as with business suits. Anyway, I digress. I check out Lance's livestrong blog every couple of days and while he doesn't always post, usually someone on his staff at least will post every day or so, typically with info on what the foundation is up to and such. Today, Lance himself blogged on the launch of their new website, Livestrong.com. This is not just a cancer website. This really is about living strong. There are articles and recipes on there for eating healthy. Info to help you live an active lifestyle. There is tons of stuff on there already and they plan on adding to it. It is designed to be interactive as well, so you can meet other people across the country with the same goals as you. From the little bit I have checked out, it seems really great. So, there's my healthy recommendation for today. I'll catch up later.
